THE UGLY TRUTH BY RUT MACKEL
The ugly truth by Rut Mackel is the photographic project which explores the ugliness and the beauty that exists collectively within each of us – by drastically transforming faces from aesthetically attractive to something more unpleasant. In the striking portrait series, Mackel puts her subjects in poses that are anything but beautiful, showing an array of contorted and artificially disfigured faces.
