Ai Weiwei's Forever Bicycles

Ai Weiwei’s Forever Bicycles, a colossal assemblage of 3,144 bikes, took a crew of workers more than two weeks to put together in Nathan Phillips Square. The sculpture debuted at Nuit Blanche, and will be sticking around until October 27—but the time-lapse video above is, in some ways, even better than seeing it up close.
